ASIA BRAND PLACEMENT (PART 1):

Project Outline:
Actually the first international brand placement in China occurred using the “T” brand in the province of Guangdong. As the “T” brand began to establish a good reputation for itself within the China marketplace, additional partnership inquiries were being received by the North American supplier of the automotive service and maintenance chemicals to support competing chemical manufacturers. A strategy needed to be developed to allow the North American supplier capitalize on the growth opportunity being presented without affecting any existing and future relationships.
Project Outcome:
To accomplish this, I helped the North American manufacturer of OEM approved automotive service and maintenance chemicals develop a product distribution strategy specifically by brand. In this way the programs were not affiliated with the manufacturer specifically of the product. As a result, a new relationship was established using the “R” brand, the same brand that is currently under manufacturing license and distribution in the Taiwan market.
