Working with small and medium organizations (entrepreneurs and inventors) I was actively involved in providing leadership in the design and production of blow and injection moulds required to manufacture plastic and rubber based products. During a seven year span nearly 200 moulds were produced under my guidance in Asia for a wide range of packaging and finished goods using several different types of plastics (PE, Barex, PVC) and rubbers.
A sampling of the types of products for which design assistance, hands on support for mould manufacturing including on-site pre-production and post-production support are as follows:
- Plastic bottles ranging from 114 to 1,000ml capacities
- Plastic bottle caps ranging in sizes of 20 to 33mm in both regular and child proof designs (included inserting proper heat seal inserts for different plastics to prevent leakage/spillage)
- Steel hammer head rubber mallet conversion kit (3 different hardness designs) ]
- Standard 52D and 65D aerosol caps
- Designed and patented 52D and 65D specialized aerosol caps
- Specialized clam shell outer packaging for product combo kit promotional programs
- Shower head soda bottle conversion kit for campers, trekkers and wild game enthusiasts (fishing and hunting)
- Liquid storage and dispensing cradles to support 4, 5 and 20L sized bulk containers
