ADVISORY BOARD MEMBER – GEORGIAN COLLEGE, CANADIAN AUTOMOTIVE INSTITUTE (CAI)

CAI is a college specifically targeted at developing and providing automotive management skills and designations to meet the needs of the automotive industry. Originally the program had a focus on programs specific to working in and managing automotive new car dealers. The program quickly expanded to include education in all segments of the automotive product and services industry (aftermarket).

As a member of the CAI Advisory Board, my role was to provide the support and direction for the educational needs for the newly implemented programs dedicated to developing talent for the automotive aftermarket program (non-OEM). As a member of the board I participated in a variety of projects which included course development, marketing initiatives to enhance enrollment, guest speaker on automotive aftermarket industry specific initiatives (global procurement, logistics, quality, etc…), provided internships to students participating in one of several co-op programs and provided feedback development and support for the effective management of the co-op program for all student.
